Mountain Bike Willow Creek State Park starting on Coleman Valley Road. Mixture of dirt/gravel fire roads and dirt single-track. Mountain bike gearing and tires are needed. Park on Coleman Valley Road 2.5 miles past Joy Road, where you see pullout on the right side of the road. There is additional parking just further west on Coleman Valley Road. You see two trailhead signs posted on the north side of Coleman Valley Road.

We will start on Watershed View Trail, out and back to the end. This is a single track dirt trail out to an overlook over the Willow Creek gulch out to the Ocean on a clear day. Return to Coleman Valley Road trailhead sign. We then take the left trail, Hunters Camp Road (gravel fire road, easy biking) downhill several miles and turn right onto Creekside Connector Trail, dirt single track, which becomes Lower Hunters Camp Road, which we take to the junction of Willow Creek Road. We turn left.

After a short segment on Willow Creek Road, we turn right onto Lower Old Barn, a gravel fire road and climb up to the top of the ridge, and turn left on the Fern Tree Vista Trail (dirt trail), out to the Fern Tree where we will take a social and snack break (bring your own snack).

Retracing the Fern Tree Trail to Seven Springs, we turn right onto Upper Old Barn Trail, and take a long downhill single track to turn right on Bypass Trail which brings us back to Willow Creek Road and turn right.After a short distance on Willow Creek Road, we retrace our steps on Hunters Camp, Creekside Connector, Upper Hunters Camp back to Coleman Valley Road and our cars.
