Ride & Brunch
Monday - January 1st
Ride Start:  See riding choices below
Brunch - 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM 

New Brunch Venue - Bike Monkey Office (121 Fifth Street, Santa Rosa)

  • SCBC is providing the bike parking (after the ride) and helping to staff the party.
  • Carlos offered us the use of his building and is donating the beer (Lagunitas!) 
  • Bridgette has wine from the holiday party!
  • Echelon has offered to let us use their parking lot for a bike parking corral.
  • Free vehicle parking near-by, adjacent to the freeway. 
  • You get to choose, either:
  • -  Bring a potluck dessert to share (for the bakers among us)
  • or 
  • -  Contribute $5 to the pot. (for those staying up to party)

Event will happen rain or shine - in case of rain, it will be a brunch only (no rides)

We will be kicking off the new year with a slate of rides around the wine country on the morning of New Year’s Day.  There are routes for all levels of riding ambition and tempo. The rides will begin in the parking lot at Fifth and Davis, next to the freeway.

After the rides, we will return for a party to get the new year off on the right foot. 

Brunch will be served indoors from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Rain or shine. Indoors, dry and warm. Please don't come early :-) 

Event Volunteers  

SCBC will be staffing the Brunch with volunteers as a thank you to SRCC members for their support of SCBC.  

Please contact Doug Simon (desimon@sbcglobal.net) if you are able to help with the following volunteers opportunities:  

NEED 4 volunteers  - Saturday 12/30 to help set-up for the party.   2:00 to 5:00pm

NEED 4 volunteers - Monday January 1st,  stay and help cleanup  2:00 to 4:00 pm

This is a members-only event and registration is required. If you have guest wanting to join us for this event have them join the club as a member and get all the benefits!!

Tips for ride leaders and participants

Riders must wear a helmet and carry ID on all club rides.
