Dirt road! Lots of climbing! Not for the faint of heart

Those of you who have done SRCC's Bad Little Brother ride know Mountain View road. The climb is challenging, but forested, quiet and beautiful. We'll make a stop at the Point Arena store for food and water before heading back up into the hills and eventually tackling our big challenge for the day. Fish Rock Rd is a steady climb on a dirt road for miles. While it is not as steep as going up Western Mine Rd in Lake County, there is a stretch in there where it really doesn't let up. If you like being out in the forested wild bits of the coastal range, this is a great place to be. The descent is paved.

If you are interested in carpooling to the ride start, please contact me and I will put you in touch with any one else who contacts me about same. Let me know if you are coming Saturday, Sunday or both, and where you are coming from.

There is street parking in Booneville. Please be respectful of the businesses in town and don't take the most prime spot in front of a business.
